The HomeAcre Hop #23, a fun giveaway, and the arrival of the chickens!

Lots going on this morning but first…THE CHICKENS ARE HERE!

I have wanted chickens since we had our first home.

And now, nearly nine years later, we’ve brought home our girls!

They hatched a day early so we had to rearrange our week somewhat to make the two hour drive to the hatchery to pick them up but now they are home, chillin’ out in the brooder, and adjusting to life at Black Fox Homestead.

Their arrival coincided with the first anniversary of our blog and to celebrate we’re offering a super cool giveaway here!  Be sure to check it out.
