spicy ginger snapsIn an effort to continue through the holiday season  using healthy, nourishing (or mostly nourishing) ingredients we give you: Spicy Chocolate Ginger Snaps!

These yummy little cookies use arrowroot powder, crushed crispy almonds, and are sweetened with molasses and rapadura.  The addition of cocoa gives them an interesting little twist.

We shared our new favorite recipe here with the readers over at Gnowfglins.

Enjoy them with a cup of hot tea (like I do) or crumbled up in a glass of milk (like my husband does).
